  • Encourage the Church community and other people of good will to share in these efforts.

What is Mother to Mother?

Mother to Mother is a program of Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) organization that has been providing services for over 50 years .

The primary purpose of the Mother to Mother program is to serve as a vehicle to place volunteer support mothers with “partner mothers”. Partner moms are often referred to us from other community social service agencies, or the mothers have contacted us themselves.

Our program is one of the few programs in our community that has no specific financial eligibility requirements. We are also unique in that our program is open to mothers with children of any age. We serve teenage mothers, mothers of teenagers and everyone in between.

Mother to Mother is a mentoring program designed to:

  • Strengthen parenting skills
  • Provide info rmation about and referrals to community resources
  • Improve parent/child relationships
