Welcome to our organization

As a program of Catholic Charities of Northeast Kansas, Mother to Mother provides opportunities for women of different racial, religious, and economic backgrounds to gather in friendship, offering support with family struggles or simply sharing life experiences and learning from one another. These new friendships empower participants to nurture healthy families and to grow both as individuals and as members of the community.

Many women and their families are often isolated from a supportive network of friends and extended family; therefore, they have no sense of community and belonging, and are often unaware of community resources. Mother to Mother provides positive role models, motivational and educational opportunities, socialization and community involvement, and enrichment experiences for the whole family.
